The Crew Lead is responsible for supervising and directing a fencing crew (3 people) to ensure high-quality and efficient installation of fencing projects. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent customer service skills. The Crew Lead serves as the primary on-site representative of the company, ensuring that projects are completed to company standards and customer expectations. Key Responsibilities Supervision & Leadership Lead and manage a fencing crew, ensuring adherence to project timelines and safety regulations. Train and mentor crew members on installation techniques, equipment usage, and company policies. Delegate tasks effectively to maximize productivity and maintain quality workmanship. Project Management Drive the company vehicle to and from job sites, ensuring timely arrivals and departures. Oversee the on-site execution of fence installations, ensuring compliance with project specifications. Conduct site assessments and problem-solve any installation challenges. Maintain accurate documentation of work completed, materials used, and any issues encountered. Client Relations Serve as the company’s on-site representative, maintaining professional and courteous interactions with clients. Communicate project progress, address customer concerns, and ensure overall client satisfaction. Equipment & Safety Compliance Maintain responsibility for all company tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition. Report any damaged, lost, or malfunctioning tools to the Director of Operations or President. Ensure the crew follows all safety guidelines, including proper use of PPE and adherence to OSHA regulations. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 2 years of experience in fence installation or construction leadership . Strong understanding of fence installation techniques, tools, and materials. Ability to read and interpret project plans and blueprints. Proven leadership abilities with experience supervising small teams. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong verbal communication and customer service skills. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work in various weather conditions. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience as a Crew Lead or Foreman in the fencing or construction industry. Familiarity with local zoning laws, permit requirements, and safety regulations. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Benefits Competitive pay based on experience.
