The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for landscape maintenance. This role involves overseeing a team of landscapers to ensure high-quality service in Landscape Construction. The Landscaping Crew Leader will play a crucial role in creating beautiful outdoor spaces while fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of landscapers in daily operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards. Communicate with Project manager on job site status. Maintain gardens by planting, pruning, and caring for various plants and flowers. Manage landscape maintenance tasks such as mulching, weeding, and edging. Implement tree care practices including trimming and removal as needed. Ensure proper irrigation techniques are utilized to maintain healthy landscapes. Build and install landscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Train new crew members on landscaping techniques and safety protocols. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their landscaping needs and provide exceptional service. Requirements Proven experience in landscaping or groundskeeping with a focus on leadership roles or similar field. Ability to supervise and motivate a team while maintaining a positive work atmosphere. Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively. Physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions. Familiarity with landscaping tools and equipment is essential. A valid driver’s license is preferred.
