Duties/ResponsibilitiesThe Materials Supervisor will be responsible for managing and directing all activities within the Materials warehouse areas to include receiving.
Performs physical and administrative tasks involved in a warehouse environment.
Supervise and train Material personnel on processes and systems, review goals daily, and identify root cause daily if goals are not met.
Maintain accurate inventory and perform regular cycle counts.
Confers with Manufacturing Managers and Supervisors to coordinate the flow of materials withing the organization.
Works effectively with Co-workers, Customers, and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner.
Actively participates in the following supervisory activities: interviewing and hiring employees, performance appraisals, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills/Experience/Education/Training RequiredCandidate must have broad experience in Contract Manufacturing to include Government and Commercial programs.
Must have good working knowledge of
MRP II / ERP
systems. Epicor experience a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent experience.
Ability to read, interpret and understand drawings, specifications, safety rules, and follow operational guidelines.
Very good written and verbal communication skills. Be able to communicate with all levels within the organization.
Proficient computer software skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
Minimum five (3-5) years experience in Materials Warehouse Operations within an electronics environment. Planning and Purchasing experience a plus.
Must be qualified to work in the
United StatesWorking Conditions/Physical Requirements:
Frequently stand and reach with hands and arms.
Walk, sit, stoop, kneel or crouch if needed.
Be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
Work overtime as needed.
