Summary As a Shipping Coordinator at Dixie Pulp & Paper, you will play a vital role in managing the different aspects of the office side of shipping and receiving at two of our local warehouses. Responsibilities Use various computer programs to manage work flow within the warehouse Prepare all paperwork for outbound shipments including BOL’s (Bill of Lading), packing lists and labels Process all paperwork and information for inbound deliveries, including entering all specifications for product received Print and distribute documents necessary for work flow within the warehouse Work with freight carriers to schedule dock appointments and missed appointments Enter all service fees associated with warehouse processing Communicate with inner company personnel, like warehouse management, customer service, logistics, and remote warehouses to answer questions and solve problems Additional responsibilities, duties and cross-training as assigned Requirements Proven experience as a Shipping Coordinator or similar role in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and customers Excel and Outlook experience preferred Basic math skills Time management, attention to detail and organizational skills All qualified candidates must be able to pass medical/drug and background screens.
