We specialize in large quantity orders of fabricated sheet metal. We have laser, turret punch, press brake, welding, powder coating, and machine capabilities all in house. We primarily operate within the 1/4 inch – 22ga range of material, and produce products for a huge range of industries. We have been in business since 1993, and were fortunate enough to continue hiring through most of the pandemic, and never have a layoff. We currently have our shipping supervisor position open. This is a fast paced position, with the ideal candidate being able to keep track of a large amount of orders and parts with accuracy. Functions of this roll include heavy lifting (5-20 pounds regularly), stacking, sorting, and data entry in our company system. Skills that will be beneficial for long-term employment/advancement are good forklift skills, ability to operate a banding machine, ability to keep track of large quantities of parts and make sure they get to their appropriate destination. Knowledge of microsoft office and computer systems is strongly preferred. We also utilize a shop management ERP system which the candidate will be frequently utilizing. All of these skills can be fine tuned on the job with time for individuals that express interest, although for this position we do require a basic understanding coming into the role. Other tasks may involve assisting in different areas of the shop either running a machine or doing prep work like grinding and peeling. These tasks can vary. Normal shift is 6am to 4:30 pm Monday-Thursday. There is opportunity for overtime on the weekends, and this position may be asked to put in a few hours on Fridays semi-regularly. This position works closely with management, leaving opportunity for recognition and advancement. We do everything we can to ensure a safe and comfortable working environment for our employees. However, this is not an air conditioned facility, and there is lifting involved in the job occasionally. Thank you!
