Shipping Department Lead Location:

Bridgeport, CT We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Shipping Department Lead in Bridgeport, CT. If you’re hands-on, organized, and eager to learn, this could be a great opportunity—even if you don’t have prior experience in shipping management. We’re ready to train the right person!

Key Responsibilities:

Manage heavy products for shipment Set up shipments on skids and shrink wrap securely Ensure packages are labeled and shipped to the correct addresses Communicate effectively with freight companies and customers via email and phone Follow daily instructions from the supervisor (Tim) and ask questions when clarification is needed

Must live within 10-15 miles of Bridgeport, CT Must have reliable transportation Must speak English fluently and have strong verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail —shipping errors cost the company time and money Basic computer and email skills required Responsible, reliable, and able to work independently Someone who shows up every day and is ready to get things done #
