The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for accomplishing all Company shipping, receiving, and inventory needs on a daily basis. Leading Shipping Assistants, inspecting and processing returned items to the warehouse, and maintaining the warehouse in a neat and orderly fashion. Casual work environment; Climate-controlled workspace Close-knit company culture: fun events and contests throughout the year Community Involvement Health Benefits available to full-time employees Education Assistance opportunities available Your job has purpose – helping people get the medical supplies they need A Day in the Life of a Shipping Coordinator Under direction of the Regional Manager and/or Director of Logistics & Facilities, the Shipping Coordinator is responsible for operating their DC and DC staff efficiently and effectively on a day to day basis. Successfully train and develop current and new staff members. Successfully Manage and order inventory on a daily/weekly basis. Manage and update MAX levels for inventory purposes on a weekly basis. Review all inventory related spreadsheets daily to ensure proper stock in the DC, and to determine when to adjust inventory levels. Manage and complete daily cycle counts of applicable inventory. Prepare all items to be shipped on a daily basis. Receive all items shipped to the Company on a daily basis. Inspect and report any damage immediately to the Regional Manager and Director of Logistics & Facilities. Notify appropriate parties of shipments received. Place all items received for stock into their appropriate locations on a daily basis. Ensure proper rotation of product each time an item is received, and conduct weekly checks to ensure no expired product is stocked in the DC. Maintain the warehouse area in a neat and orderly fashion. Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding employment, safety and compliance and report any concerns of non-compliance in any area to your manager immediately. Perform other duties as requested by the Regional Manager or Director of Logistics & Facilities.

Education/Experience/Knowledge Requirements:

High school diploma or GED; one or more years of experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Good organizational skills Responsible and cooperative attitude. Neat and clean personal appearance. Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift 1-10 lbs. frequently. Ability to lift 10 or more lbs. occasionally. Frequent sitting at a desk, standing and using a computer keyboard, and walking to complete various duties. Frequent bending, squatting, stooping, and reaching.
