$33.3K – $39.2K a year 9 hours ago Qualifications Computer skills Communication skills Entry level Full Job Description This position receives, processes, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, vehicles, and products within a warehouse environment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions while promoting the company’s core values. This position performs its duties and responsibilities primarily within a warehouse space. A portion of the duties involve working outdoors and local travel during the workday. The position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, and standard warehouse equipment such as forklift, hand trucks, box cutters and tape dispensers.

Responsibilities:

Ensures warehouse is safe, clean, free of hazardous conditions, and accessible for service and construction technicians, salespeople, other company employees, and customer and vendor traffic. Assists with shipping and receiving including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing to technicians for installation. Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped. Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas and to shipping or to other designated areas. Organizes, sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code. File requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools or other stock items and distribute items to shipping or to designated route driver storage area. Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping department. Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method. Open bales, crates, and other containers. Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program. Tracks, signs-out, maintains, and repairs company shared tools and equipment. Ensures tool sign-out and inspection processes are being followed and properly executed. Maintains physical inventory of safety supplies, general supplies, equipment, parts, and vehicles. May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed. Responsible for Fleet management activities including decal installation, tooling, GPS installation, stocking, and preparing new and reassigned vehicles. Maintains, coordinates, and track maintenance histories of vehicles. Sweep, dust, and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times. Wear the proper safety equipment.
