DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective:

Primary duty to receive, identify, mark and place materials sent to the warehouse according to established procedures; ‘load out’ products for contractors. Position is responsible for keeping warehouse/office/dumpster area neat and tidy. This position will support warehouse services by ensuring a positively remarkable customer service experience to both internal and external customers. Additional duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Plan, oversee and participate in the warehouse operations and activities of the warehouse Accurately receive, process and issue warehouse stock Assure stock and warehouse facility/office/dumpster is maintained in a safe, clean, and orderly condition Order and maintain records of stock and supplies as necessary Maintains safety, quality, and delivery standards set forth by management Performs other duties and assignments as directed by management Always display SCG’s Vision and Values Competencies Fitness and mobility Literacy and numeracy Hand-eye coordination Self-motivation Analytic and Problem-solving abilities.

Branch Manager Work Environment:

This physical job operates in a casual warehouse environment; exposure to marked changes in temperature/humidity, dust, and fumes; This role routinely uses warehouse equipment such as forklift, pad racks, carpet cutting utensils, measuring, and hand brooms

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, must be physically able to pull/push/lift/carry up to 50lbs alone and more with help; work performed while standing, sitting and/or walking; must be able to bend, squat, crawl, climb and reach; use of hands and fingers

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

Position is available as Full Time or Part Time Regular as needed to support the operational initiatives. Overtime and occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel:

No overnight travel required

Minimum Qualifications:

At least 17yrs of age; HS graduate/GED 2yrs warehouse facility experience Flexibility to work nights and weekends, as needed Physical fitness to perform duties

Preferred Qualifications:

1-2yrs Knowledge/Experience in industrial services/flooring installation industry Proficient in speaking business/professional Spanish Driver’s license/Forklift certification
