This role includes managing staff, optimizing inventory management, and enforcing compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Supervise and train warehouse staff to ensure efficient operations Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution activities Implement and maintain safety standards to reduce accidents Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper stock management Conduct regular audits to maintain accuracy in inventory records Optimize workflows and processes to improve efficiency Prepare and present reports on warehouse performance to senior management Minimum Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations 1 year of supervisory experience Basic computer skills and familiarity with software such as WMS Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks Preferred Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field Experience with lean warehousing practices Certifications in safety management or warehouse operations Prior experience with budgeting and cost control Forklift certification Skills Strong leadership and team management Proficient in inventory management systems Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations Effective communication and interpersonal skills Problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to analyze data and optimize workflow
