⚐ ⚑ ⚑ Boat Club seeking Part Time to possibly Full Time Dockmaster (Cape Coral and Punta Gorda)  compensation: Hourly plus tips, based on experience employment type: experience level: mid level job title: Dockmaster Boat Club hiring for a Dockmaster position with the right skill set. We pay more than any other Boat club! Hourly Plus Tips. Must be reliable. We are in need of a Dockmaster in Cape Coral and Punta Gorda now through the year and beyond. Come Grow With Us! The Dockmaster duties are as follows:

• Excellent Power Boat handling experience
• Advanced Sailing experience needed
• Excellent Relationship skills and experience
• Must Be Reliable with Reliable transportation
• Ability to take ownership of your job
• Assist members on-boarding / off-boarding boats with emphasis on safety
• Perform check-out and check-in of power boats and sail boat equipment on board (Marine Electronics, Life vests, Anchor, Dock Lines, etc)
• Familiar with local waters for expert chart guidance to members
• Exhibit leadership capabilities
• Fuel boats at marina fuel dock
• Clean boats, stow and stage equipment for its next outing
• Deep clean boats weekly
• Light repairs as necessary
• Daily Paperwork, fuel logs
• Daily inspection of boats
• Incident reporting

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be able to expertly operate single and twin outboard engine boats
• Ability to perform minor boat maintenance and/or willingness to learn
• Physical ability to lift / carry up to 30 lbs or more
• Physical ability to board and off-board boats
• Physical ability to clean boats to company standards often using handle mounted brush, etc.
• Ability to kneel/stooping to clean interior compartments and exterior of boats
• Computer and smart phone skills
• A calm, positive, engaging and helpful attitude
• Exceptional communications and customer service skills are absolutely required
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be punctual and reliable
• Sailing knowledge and experience a plus
• Captain’s License a Big Plus!

We pay the highest hourly for any boat club plus tips! We want the best people! Hourly plus tips, based on experience From 20-30 hours per week depending on either near full or part-time hours Ongoing Advanced Training will be provided for the right person(s) showing desire and commitment to excel in our business.
