DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Order Fulfillment:

Oversee the process of pulling, packing, and labeling products based on customer orders, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.

Packaging and Assembly:

Ensure packages are assembled, fabricated, and shipped efficiently and timely, while maintaining compliance with industry regulations.

Shipping Operations:

Supervise daily shipping operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products, including coordinating with transportation providers and managing shipping schedules.

Aftermarket Support:

Handle returns, replacements, and other aftermarket packaging needs, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Team Management:

Lead, train, and motivate a team of packing and shipping personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective operations.

Inventory Control:

Manage inventory levels, ensuring sufficient packaging materials and supplies are available to meet production demands.

Quality Control:

Monitor product quality and packaging standards, identifying and addressing any issues or discrepancies.

Warehouse Operations:

Oversee and coordinate warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and retrieving products.

Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards, including safety and quality standards.

Problem Solving:

Identify and resolve shipping and packaging issues, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for an associate’s degree or higher in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a shipping, packaging, or warehousing environment, with experience in a lead or supervisory role preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS

Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Integrity and leadership skills. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively; proficiency in relevant software and systems (e.g., warehouse management systems, shipping software); knowledge of shipping regulations and procedures. Ability to speak effectively and exchange information with multi-disciplines including suppliers, customers and other members of the organization. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

: Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods; ability to lift and move packages up to 50 pounds or more. Ability to drive a forklift when necessary.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

May be exposed to moving mechanical parts and moderate noise when on the production floor.
