High SchoolResponsibilitiesAs a Warehouse Lead, you’ll be instrumental in daily operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
Your core responsibilities include:
Overseeing daily warehouse activities: Directing and participating in receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. You’ll ensure accuracy and timeliness at every step.
Team Leadership:
Supervising, training, and motivating warehouse associates. You’ll delegate tasks, monitor performance, and foster a positive, productive work environment.
Inventory Management:
Maintaining accurate inventory records, assisting with cycle counts, and identifying/resolving discrepancies to ensure precise stock levels.
Safety & Organization:
Upholding strict safety protocols, ensuring a clean and organized warehouse. This includes proper handling of materials and equipment, and promoting a safety-first culture.
Quality Control:
Verifying the quality and accuracy of all incoming and outgoing shipments, addressing any issues promptly.
Equipment Operation:
Safely operating warehouse equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks (certification a plus).
Communication:
Effectively communicating with management and team members, providing updates on operational status and addressing any challenges. You’ll be a hands-on leader, crucial for maintaining operational excellence and supporting our team’s success.
