WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR

DESCRIPTION

Mini-Circuits designs, manufactures and distributes integrated circuits, modules, and sub-systems for high-performance radio frequency (RF) and microwave applications. Position Summary:

The Warehouse Operations Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the day-to-day activities within the warehouse, including the Kit Room and Shipping & Receiving departments. This role ensures that all operational tasks are executed efficiently and in accordance with company standards. The Supervisor will provide ongoing support to team members, ensuring proper handling, storage, and accurate tracking of materials, while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

 $55,000 – $70,000 per year

Job Function:

Oversee the department’s operational performance by upholding quality standards for incoming materials, material handling, and inventory control, ensuring transaction accuracy and proper documentation. Support the allocation of tasks among team members based on priorities established by the manager.
Ensure the timely movement of all runs into and out of their designated work centers in alignment with production flow and scheduling requirements.
Ensure completed kits are released and moved according to the priority sequence defined in the system, and that kits are picked accurately and handled in accordance with established procedures to prevent damage and maintain material integrity.
Assist team members in maintaining a well-organized Kit Room by ensuring all materials are stored in their designated stock locations.
Support cycle counting activities and verify the accuracy of inventory transactions recorded by team members to maintain inventory integrity.
Receive and process goods according to the following steps:
Receive goods to the dock within 24 hours upon delivery.
Process the receipt of goods to the dock (RD) within 24 hours from delivery.
Process the receipt of goods to inspection (RI) within 24-48 hours from the dock (RD).
Process the receipt of goods to stock (RP) within 24 hours from the closure of RI, following specific conditions.
Provide on-the-job training (OJT), supplemental training, and cross-training to team members, ensuring all relevant training documentation is properly maintained. Monitor the effectiveness of training and provide feedback to the manager.
Ensure visual boards are consistently updated to reflect the most current information.
Ensure ESD checks are conducted for wrist straps, foot straps, and workstations.
Ensure tools and equipment used by the team are properly calibrated and maintained, reporting any issues to the manager and the calibration department.
Manage cold storage inventory in accordance with current procedures.
Serve as a point of contact for team members, relaying concerns and suggestions to the manager.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Provide day to day work direction and support to a small team, typically including warehouse operators, raw material handlers, cycle counters, and kit room coordinators.
Assist in identifying staffing requirements and suggest adjustments to the manager. The duties, responsibilities and expectations described above are not a comprehensive list and additional tasks may be assigned to the member, within the scope of the position.

Qualifications:

High School diploma, GED or international equivalent
5+ years of job-related experience in a warehouse or production environment.
2+ years of job-related experience in a leadership role, such as supervisor or Team Leader.
Basic computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management systems.
Ability to use tape and strapping machines.
Physical ability to perform tasks involving walking, bending, and lifting up to 50lbs.
Ability to work on latters and operate material handling equipment safely.
Ability to use Forklift (Certification required).
strong organizational and problem-solving skills while leading by example.
Maintain and ensure that all current trainings are aligned with the relevant departmental operating procedures.
