Florida Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the shipping and distribution processes within our facility. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Shipping Coordinator will ensure that all outgoing shipments are processed accurately and on time, contributing to our commitment to customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Coordinate and oversee the shipping process for all outgoing packages. Utilize RF scanners for tracking inventory and managing stock levels. Perform order picking and packing duties to prepare shipments for delivery. Load and unload materials from trucks, ensuring safe handling of products. Maintain accurate records of shipments, including documentation for tracking purposes. Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient distribution center operations. Assist in inventory management, including stock counts and organization. Operate forklifts as needed for moving large items or pallets within the facility. Ensure compliance with safety regulations during shipping operations. Experience Previous experience in a shipping or logistics role is preferred. Familiarity with distribution center operations and MRP systems is a plus. Basic math skills are essential for calculating weights, dimensions, and quantities of packages. Experience using RF scanners for inventory management is highly desirable. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail.
