Job Summary:
The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing the placement and re-stocking of merchandise in the Warehouse and responsible for the Warehouse workers and verifying they are completing their tasks and requirements.
Major Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Managing the daily workflow of the employees on the warehouse floor. Ensuring the warehouse is always stocked and overseeing the stocking map. Preparing proper spacing and location for merchandise in the warehouse. Ensuring that incoming merchandise is properly unloaded and placed in the correct location Maintaining the cleanliness of the Warehouse and of the tool area. Operating a forklift or pallet jack to load/unload incoming and outgoing trucks with merchandise. Delegating tasks and jobs to warehouse workers and Inventory Clerk. Ensuring a loader is responding or yourself when available. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Manager.
Preferred qualifications:
Previous warehouse and leadership experience required (at least 5 years).
