Full Job Description Job Summary:
The Lead Customer Experience Quality Assurance (CXQA) Associate is responsible for overseeing and supporting the day-to-day operations of the CXQA team within the general warehouse. This role includes managing shipping and receiving processes, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met. As a lead, this individual will provide guidance to the CXQA team, serve as a liaison between warehouse operations and leadership, and promote a strong focus on customer satisfaction and process excellence. Key Responsibilities Leadership &Oversight Serve as the primary point of contact for CXQA-related tasks on the warehouse floor. Provide daily directions, support, and coaching to CXQA team members. Provide first level WMS support. Lead by example, ensuring consistent application of policies, procedures, and safety practices. Escalate issues and recommend improvements to supervisors or management as needed. Receiving Shipments Inspect and verify incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and compliance with customer specifications. Ensure discrepancies and damages are documented and communicated appropriately. Shipping Orders Oversee the preparation of outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy in labeling, documentation, and packaging standards. Review completed shipments for compliance with customer and internal quality requirements. Inventory Management Monitor and support regular inventory counts and audits to ensure stock integrity. Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies and track resolution outcomes. Quality Control Serve as the quality assurance lead on-site by monitoring product and process quality. Document and report quality concerns, proposing process improvements where necessary. Documentation & Reporting Ensure all required documents, such as bills of lading, packing slips, and inventory logs, are completed accurately and timely. Compile and report quality and operations metrics to management. Training & Development Train and mentor new team members on CXQA procedures and systems. Support ongoing development and cross-training within the team to enhance versatility and performance. Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement Identify process inefficiencies and collaborate with supervisors to implement solutions. Participate in warehouse improvement projects focused on quality, efficiency, and customer experience. Safety Compliance Champion a culture of safety by ensuring team adherence to all safety protocols and use of PPE. Conduct informal safety checks and notify supervisors of hazards or unsafe behavior. Team Collaboration Act as a liaison between CXQA, operations, IT and customer service teams to ensure alignment on priorities and expectations. Support a positive, collaborative work environment. Other Duties Perform other warehouse tasks and duties as assigned to support business needs.
Qualifications:
Experience:
2+ years in a warehouse CXQA or similar role, with previous leadership or lead experience strongly preferred.
Skills:
Strong organizational and communication skills, ability to multitask, and excellent attention to detail.
Leadership:
Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and motivate a team.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic office software.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to walk, bend, and lift in a warehouse environment for extended periods
Work Environment & Schedule:
Conditions:
Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures, equipment noise, and physical tasks.
Hours:
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional overtime and weekend shifts as needed.
