Shipping Coordinator- 10am-7pm 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars 1395 Southlake Parkway, Morrow, GA 30260
JOB SUMMARY:
To ship outgoing case materials to customers and prepare finished products for delivery to customers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Receive finished products from laboratory operations, inspect prescription form for proper completion and that necessary materials are provided Place finished goods and customer invoice in proper shipping container Properly and securely wrap shipping container for delivery Prepare and affix appropriate labels for best shipping method and dispatch for delivery Disinfect work area according to the documented procedure Maintain a positive attitude within the department All other duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities Required:
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English Excellent communication skills Strong ability to listen and comprehend instructions, following tasks through to completion Strong attention to detail Able to perform accurate data entry of both alpha and numeric characters Flexible with the ability to multi-task Interpersonal/Teamwork skills Takes a proactive approach to situations Accepts and offers feedback
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
High school diploma or equivalent General knowledge of Microsoft Office products Entry Level; paid training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reach Exhibit fine motor skills and/or perform repetitive motions using both arms and hands grasping, gripping, pinching, lifting, pushing and carrying. Constantly lifting & carrying 0-10 lbs. Good hand-eye coordination Good manual dexterity Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time Repeated bending Vision capabilities: Depth perception, attention to detail and/or color Push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 25 pounds
