We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Coordinator to oversee our warehouse operations and ensure the efficient management of materials and equipment.

SUMMARY:

Responsible for all receiving/shipping transfer movement work in process inventory transactions with accuracy. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement resolutions for the best inventory management practices with material.

ESSENTIAL

DUTIES and

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and coordinate all receiving and warehouse activities.
Perform Root Cause Analysis and supply management recommendations for improvement.
Assist in managing and monitoring the performance of Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) vendors.
Organization, labeling and process management for inventory: ensure that inventory is stored appropriately so that it is not damaged and in its proper location, ensure inventory is clearly and accurately labeled, and understand the system transaction processes based on inventory part type: PD or stock.
Performing regular cycle counts.
Completing adjustment forms according to the delegation of authority matrix and submitting to finance for transactions
Assisting the purchasing team with the management of aging inventory solutions
Documenting, developing, and improving inventory practice processes and procedures with corresponding KPI’s
Manage warehouse rack space Work closely with finance team on executing the year-end physical inventory
Responsible for inspection of incoming material, reporting any non-conformances to Quality, Purchasing and Production teams via Production Issue Tracker in SharePoint.
Conduct annual performance reviews based on goals set annually as directed by Corporate. Provide constructive feedback for areas of improvement, including verbal and written disciplinary actions as needed.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
Proven experience as a Warehouse Coordinator or in a similar role within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of warehouse management best practices and inventory control.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Proficiency in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.

SAFETY:

Follow all safety policies/procedures applicable to the job.
Use as instructed, the proper Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) that have been identified on the Hazard Analysis for the department/role.
Attend and take part in all safety training, safety committee meetings, audits, and Behavior-Based Safety programs.
Report all safety hazards. If capable, correct the identified safety hazard.
Provide direction and training to team members as needed.
Maintain preventative maintenance on forklifts or any material movement machinery. EDUCATION and/or

EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or GED is a requirement. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Strong leadership skills critical to the success of this position.
Quality conscious with a high degree of accuracy
Must have at least one year of experience in the cycle counting process
Self-motivated with a desire to learn and make improvements

WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMAND

60% Working in Office
40% Working on the production floor of a non-climate-controlled manufacturing plant Standing on feet for approximately 40% of the workday. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, bend, stoop, and stretch.
