JOBSUMMARY

Interacts with partners (client partner and common carrierrepresentatives) to ensure superior levels of customer serviceMaintains a safe work environment at all times through managementof others Supervises the day-to-day operation of assigned workgroups to ensure that all partner and Capstone Logistics’requirements are met and implemented effectively Assigns tasks toassociates in a fair and equitable manner Handling of freight asrequired, meeting company standards and timelines while maintaininga safe work environment

QUALIFICATIONS

1-2 years of supervisory /leadership experience in an industrial setting Proven experience inproviding high levels of customer service to internal and externalpartners. Ability to train, coach, and mentor warehouse associatesExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (written andverbal) Strong organization and prioritizing skills Ability tosimultaneously perform multiple tasks Ability to solve problems andmake effective decisions in a fast-paced environment IntermediatePC skills with knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Ensure partner needs are met on a dailybasis Document and resolve any customer service or associate issuesdaily and report them to the Regional Director or Director asrequested/needed. Ensure all associates follow Capstone Logisticspolicies and work rules including Capstone safety work rules Holdweekly safety meetings and ensure associate participationScheduling associate shifts based on partner requirements Assistwith the interviewing, orientation and training of new associatesDock level negotiation of rates with common carrier representativesSupervise timely and accurate data entry for all services performedComply with all administrative reporting and financial policies andprocedures Ability to complete daily closeout, including cashbalancing, data upload, and payroll record administration accordingto Capstone Logistics policies and standard operating procedures

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Standing and /or walking for extendedperiods of time in warehouse environment (concrete flooring andchanging temperatures) Ability to lift 50 lbs. Computer data entry.

Ability to function in cold and hot weather environment. Ability tobe certified to operate manual or powered material handlingequipment in a safe and productive manner EDUCATION and/or

EXPERIENCE

Associate Degree or equivalent from two-year College ortechnical school or two or more years related experience and/ortraining; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
