Warehouse Supervisor Barrow Industries 75 Crestridge Drive, Suwanee, GA 30024 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to lead and optimize our shipping operations. This hands-on leadership role is perfect for an experienced Shipping Associate ready to take the next step in their career. You’ll be responsible for overseeing daily shipping functions, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment, maintaining regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvements in efficiency and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise Daily Shipping Operations Manage and monitor the daily workflow to ensure all outbound shipments are processed promptly and accurately.
• Lead Warehouse Staff Guide and support team members in proper packing, labeling, and shipment preparation, ensuring high standards are maintained.
• Develop and Improve Shipping Procedures Design, implement, and refine shipping protocols to boost accuracy, speed, and overall operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot Shipping Issues Proactively resolve problems such as delays, misroutes, or damaged goods, minimizing impact on customer satisfaction.
• Ensure Compliance Uphold all internal policies and comply with external shipping regulations and safety standards.
• Oversee Shipment Coordination Supervise all inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring documentation and goods are processed correctly and efficiently. Maintain a Safe and Organized Shipping Area Ensure the shipping area remains clean, orderly, and safe to support smooth daily operations.
• Open and Close Warehouse Responsible for daily opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Cross-Departmental Collaboration Work with other departments (e.g., receiving, inventory, customer service) to support company-wide operational goals.
• Verify Shipping Documentation Review and confirm accuracy of bills of lading, packing slips, shipping labels, and other relevant documents.
• Communicate with Carriers Schedule pickups and manage delivery timelines in collaboration with freight and shipping providers.
• Maintain a Safe and Organized Shipping Area Ensure the shipping area remains clean, orderly, and safe to support smooth daily operations. Requirements
• Proven experience in shipping, logistics, or a related field
• Familiarity with shipping software and inventory management systems FedEx Ship Manager as well as SX and TWL
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High school diploma or equivalent (certifications a plus)
