Job Description
Akima Facilities Operations (AFO) is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to work in Fort Stewart, GA. Responsibilities
The Logistic Supervisor will supervise warehouse personnel in various tasks, including loading, unloading, segregation, palletizing, and selection of stock and storage areas.
They provide technical guidance to lower- graded personnel and ensure that inventories and location surveys are performed according to established procedures.
The supervisor also handles property disposal storage functions and ensures special procedures for handling, storing, packaging, and shipping retrograde material.
Additionally, they retrieve and analyze history and activity files related to system-rejected documents. The Logistic Supervisor will oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities, such as receiving and storing goods, managing inventory levels, ensuring efficient product delivery, and maintaining warehouse safety.
Supervising warehouse personnel in loading, unloading, segregation, dunnage, palletizing, and selection of stock and storage areas.
Providing technical guidance to lower-graduated personnel.
Ensuring that inventories and location surveys are performed in accordance with established procedures.
Performing property disposal.
Microsoft Excel–Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel including but not limited to other shipping software and use of Process Pro.
Effective analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to envision and implement new concepts/strategies.
Simultaneous management of multiple tasks. •
Advanced written, oral, and presentation communication skills.
OSHA and warehouse safety basic knowledge.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience.
Valid state issued driver’s license.
Comprehensive knowledge of governing regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions in logistics management.
Skills in verbal and written communications to conduct meetings, execute plans and prepare reports, plans, and work instructions. Job ID
