Job Summary:

The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee warehouse inventory and staff. Shift hours

  • Mon-Thurs 1st shift (6:30am
  • 6:30pm) Fri (8:00am
  • 11:30pm) 2nd shift Mon
  • Wed (6:00pm
  • 7:00am) Thurs (6:00pm
  • 8:30am Sun (10:00pm
  • 7:00am) / Flexibility to support either shift.

Weekend as necessary based on Customer need.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Assists Warehouse Manager with hiring and training of new employees. Schedules and oversees warehouse staff. Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive. Supports team development. Completes Safety audits. Daily Reports (KPI)

Duties/Responsibilities:

Knowledge of all warehouse sequencing functions for day to day operations. Monitors and records new inventory as it is delivered; inspects and directs team according to SOP. Conducts physical inventory, compares results to computerized inventory, and reconciles any differences. Supports in Replenishes stock and inventory as needed. Ensures that all stock is stored in correct locations in the warehouse. Transfers inventory to trucks for delivery in a timely manner and according to schedule. Schedules materials being transferred to and from warehouse; coordinates transfer of inventory between departments. Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of warehouse practices. Monitors expenditures; implements corrective actions as needed. Enforces operating instructions and safety policies. Resolves routine equipment issues. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Ability to anticipate and solve problems. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to meet deadlines. Proficient with data entry and inventory software and systems.

Education and Experience:

Prior team leadership experience in warehousing or order filling job type. At least 2 years of experience in distribution or manufacturing required.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. Safety walks throughout the warehouse.
