Cedar’s Foods is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Supervisor to support the day-to-day operations of our Shipping and Receiving Department on First Shift . Under the direction of the Shipping and Receiving Manager, this role will lead a team of hourly employees to ensure efficient product flow, inventory accuracy, and compliance with safety and quality standards. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on driving results, fostering teamwork, and ensuring smooth operations across shifts.

Shipping & Receiving Supervisor Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily shipping and receiving to meet production and delivery goals
• Maintain accurate shipping records in compliance with audit standards
• Promote a safe work environment; manage incidents and return-to-work cases
• Enforce company policies and provide coaching as needed
• Supervise inventory reporting and ensure proper product rotation
• Train and develop team members; lead GMP, safety, and compliance trainings
• Foster a positive, high-performing team culture
• Support continuous improvement and cross-department collaboration
• Ensure accurate timekeeping and resolve discrepancies
• Manage sample request processing
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Shipping & Receiving Supervisor Qualifications:

• Supervisory experience required; food manufacturing preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Proven ability to lead, train, and evaluate teams (10+ employees)
• Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus
• Comfortable with tools, machinery, and computer systems

Shipping & Receiving Supervisor Education & Experience:

• Associate’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
