Job Description
Shipping/Receiving Lead Confidential Holliston, MA 01746 Lead and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the shipping and receiving team within at a Holliston warehouse. You’ll oversee material flow, maintain inventory accuracy, manage documentation, and ensure timely outgoing and incoming shipments, working closely with carriers, internal teams, and facility management.
Schedule:
Full‑time, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30
PM Pay Range:
$20.00 an hour Responsibilities Supervise shipping & receiving staff: assign duties, track performance, maintain schedules Oversee incoming shipments: verify bills of lading, unpack, inspect, and stage inventory Monitor outgoing shipments: pick, pack, label, schedule carriers, and ensure documentation completeness Conduct regular cycle counts and full inventory reconciliations, address discrepancies promptly Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment; enforce PPE & safety protocols Track and report key metrics (e.g., turn‑times, accuracy, dock operations) Collaborate cross‑functionally with processing, asset management, and logistics teams Support onboarding, training, and mentoring new hires in shipping and receiving Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment as needed Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent 1+ years’ experience leading shipping/receiving operations or warehouse lead role Forklift and pallet jack certification/experience Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods Proficient with computer Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, industrial/recycling environment
