The ideal candidate will oversee daily warehouse and dock operations, ensure efficiency and productivity while maintaining a safe working environment. Responsibilities

• Strong computer and math skills with the added ability to learn new software on the job as needed
• Prior experience and knowledge of running an entire shipping and receiving department
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Able to work with others in a small department and able to work independently on special projects
• Able to multi-task and maintain focus in a dynamic work environment
• Physically capable to handle manual tasks such as loading and unloading goods, oftentimes performed manually
• Problem solving skills and the ability to work with and learn from others within the entire organization from top to bottom
• Constant attention to detail
• Ability to properly handle personnel conflicts when they arise
• Implementing corrective actions when needed for continuous improvement
• Experience and knowledge with international shipping requirements
• Experience with handling hazardous materials
• Forklift experience preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory role
• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems like AS400, UPS, FedEx, and other web-based platforms
• Familiarity with logistics, shipping, and receiving processes
• Ability to lead a team effectively and drive performance improvements
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations for workplace safety
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
