Receiving/Warehouse Team Lead Quaker Eldon 3353 Highway 52, Eldon, MO 65026 Receiving Lead Job Description Position Overview The Receiving Lead is responsible for receipt of materials into the production buildings. The position ensures the production lines have required materials to meet their daily production goals. The Receiving Lead will update Quaker’s backend processing system with materials physically received and compare to quantities orders. The position forwards related documents to Accounts Receivable, prepares inventory labels, and distributes work orders to Fork Truck Drivers for delivery to production lines.

Non-Exempt Duties and Responsibilities Ensure production lines have required materials to meet their daily production goals Complete daily cycle counts and manage material minimum / maximum quantities Accurately scan materials in and out of the Receiving Department Update Quaker’s backend processing system with material orders received and verify quantities against purchase orders Forward receipt verification documents to Quaker’s Accounts Receivable Team Correctly label materials Efficiently change out racks of materials Safely load Scrap Trailers Reduce Overstock Watch over materials in the warehouse and maintain security of those goods Upkeep inventory accuracy in the warehouse Maintain equipment by performing daily visual inspections, logging safety checks, performing basic maintenance and reporting issues to maintenance Oversee the safe operation of Forklift Drivers & pallet jack usage Keep the areas holding inventory clean and tidy Weekly correspond with the Purchasing Manager Prompt and regular attendance at an assigned work location. Interact and communicate with employees and customers in an appropriate manner. Availability on site to confer with staff members with whom the employee must interact on a regular basis. Communicate via email, prepare reports and work schedules. Review and analyze data and information concerning material minimums & maximums. Plan, prioritize and monitor receiving activities. Oversee the completion of tasks/projects in a timely manner. Supervisory Responsibility The Receiving Lead position has indirect leadership and supervisory responsibilities including assisting with assigning and checking the work of others. The position will also monitor staff performance and employee retention. The individual will train employees, provide performance feedback and assist in completing any correction or discipline necessary. Additionally, the Receiving Lead will assist in determining means, methods and materials for performing work. Safety Observe safety and security policies and procedures, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment; report potentially unsafe conditions; and use equipment and materials properly. Follow any job-specific or department-specific safety requirements such as Safe Product Handling Guidelines, Basic Tool Safety, Lock Out Tag Out, Safe Pallet Jack Operation and Safe Lift. Travel For training purposes, travel between campuses will be required. Additionally, minimal travel is required for professional development, visits to job sites or to backup similar positions on other campuses. Excel, Word, Outlook Proficient Knowledge of Quaker Product Terminology and Order Sticker Information Proficient Knowledge of Materials Used for Units Produced in the Department Proficient Knowledge of Quaker’s Internal Order Tracking System, the Production Portal and ManagerPlus for equipment needs Basic Math Skills, Accurately Use a Tape Measure Ability to Distinguish Material Defects from Quality Material Safe and Proficient Usage of Pallet Jack Obtain and maintain Forklift Certification Preferred Education and Experience The expectation is that the individual has achieved a minimum level of education and/or related expertise to qualify for this position. High school diploma or a passed General Education Development test preferred Minimum 1-2 Years Experience in Manufacturing Competencies and Skills Dependable / Punctual / Reliable Problem Solving Accuracy Approachable / Collaboration / Team Building Safety Focused Organized Flexible Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday during normal business hours. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. It is an essential job function and safety rule, applicable to every employee working in a safety sensitive classified position, to be able to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to climactic variations, fumes or airborne particles, various levels of vibration, and moving mechanical parts. Various different types of Personal Protective Equipment might be required based on the employee’s work location. The noise level in the work environment may require hearing protection.
