The Lumberyard Foreman / Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for learning the total operations of the location. This includes directing/staging load builders, managing quality control (QC) on incoming and outgoing building products, building loads for delivery, loading/unloading freight, maintaining the lumberyard, inventory control and maintaining the warehouse.

Full-time Paid Bi-Weekly Direct load builders of lumber, trim, supplies, and place on truck for delivery to home construction sites, assist Will Call customers, unload delivery trucks., manage the warehouse on site. Ideal Position for Forklift Operators with supervisory experience on a lumberyard or heavy equipment experience.

Essential Duties:

This position involves working both indoors and outdoors, Working near equipment such as forklifts and large vehicles, Manage loads on truck according to size and weight, Manage load builders unloading trucks from suppliers Assist Will Call customers, Ability to lift 80 lbs. Keep yard and warehouse organized and neat, Observe safety rules, This position will have responsibilities under the branch manager’s direction.

Physical Demands:

Outdoor work environment with potential for extreme heat, cold, mud, rain, ice, snow, windy, etc. conditions, Dexterity of hands and fingers to move products, and to operate tools, equipment, Manual lifting (80 lbs.), bending, stooping, Sitting 8-10+ hours daily, Exposure to loud noises.
