Job Description:

The Distribution Supervisor position reports to the DistributionManager responsible for the location. The Distribution Supervisorwill be responsible for the day-to-day oversight of thedistribution of our product in the local market, ensuring theefficient and timely distribution of our products to customerlocations. This role holds principal accountabilities forfunctional planning, dispatching, customer, and internalcommunication regarding route coverage and operation daily. While professional experience and qualifications are key for thisrole, make sure to check you have the preferable soft skills beforeapplying if required. Successful candidates for this role will possess the followingdemonstrated successful qualifications, experiences, andabilities: Coordinating and planning successful execution of delivery routeswhile fostering a team atmosphere that works together to achievecommon goals. Supervision and coordination all activities of distribution staff,including scheduling, training, and monitoring performance. Ensuring all distribution processes are completed accurately andtimely and all customer deadlines and requirements are met. Facilitate resolution of customer supply problems in conjunctionwith Sales staff Continuously analyzes and evaluates distribution processes andsystems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changeswhere necessary. Demonstrated experience managing fleet assets, including oversightof vehicle maintenance program and vendor relationshipmanagement. Proven track record of managing accountability with all companyquality and safety policies, including federal, state, and localDOT safety compliance. Demonstrated success in recording driver assignments, deliverytimes, and other transportation data in ERP databases to ensurecompliance with customer demands. Performing quality assurance audits monthly, including traveling tolocal markets. Qualifications Qualified applicants will possess the following skillset: Class A CDL plus two years of driving experience and ability tomeet insurability requirements required. 2+ Years in Logistics based Leadership Role strongly preferred. Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, or arelated field is strongly preferred. High School Diploma orEquivalent required Ability to travel by driving to sites within the local market alonedaily, required. Excellent verbal and written communication, analyticalproblem-solving, and team leadership skills are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based ERP systems isrequired. Physical abilities to operate a commercial motor vehicle ormerchandise product within a store location.
