GERNERAL RESPONSIBILIY
Position will be responsible for the generation of work for the automated distribution facility. The successful candidate will look at Inbound, and Outbound work in the queue, ensure the work is available to be processed timely and efficiently while balancing KPIs around Automation metrics, Labor, Receipt on time metrics, and Load schedule times. Looking at different systems and reports to understand work available, work incoming and balancing that with the aforementioned KPIs will be a critical part of the role. The shift will be Thursday, Friday, and Saturday 5:30am-6pm.
JOB REPONSIBLITTIES
Monitor and assess Warehouse Management and Automation Warehouse Control Systems
Physical preparation of loads for shipping floor: label/manifest generation, load sequencing
Preparing work plans (Inbound and Outbound) and communicating to the DC leaders and associates
Identifies efficiencies in workflow between receiving, putaway, picking, replenishment, packing and shipping for automated and manual processing.
Working in different systems with shipment and inventory data and scheduling work in advance, to ensure automation is efficiently utilized, labor is minimized and all incoming and outgoing shipment KPIs are met.
Assigns and monitors each wave.
Door/Dock management both with internal personnel and the Yard drivers
Ensuring all systems are rectified/closed, data matches and transacted timely to avoid hung shipments, missed SLAs and inventory inaccuracies (in some cases escalating issues to correct party for resolution)
Completes the waves in the Warehouse Management and Automation Systems
Communication to the Shipping floor of any customer special requirements
Processing the “item shortage’ reports for each load prior to waving the loads to PKMS
Uses forecasts to build labor plans for receiving, putaways, replenishments, picking, shipping.
Creates waves, print and prepare carton labels.
Print, pull, list labels, and assemble them according to set procedure.
Maintaining Customer Service levels to a 98% level
Managing the “load by” times with the Shipping Supervisor to ensure both workflow requirements and loading time requirements are met.
Assist with all warehouse functions from receiving to shipping.
Work with Warehouse Coordinator and B-Dock supervisor to store parts that are needed for outbound customer loads.
Load packet generation- prewaves/shortage reports/manifest Work with Inventory Specialist as it relates to inventory issues/pallets.
Interact and instruct hourly distribution work force as needed.
Problem solve and troubleshoot issues with shipments (inbound and Outbound) timely.
Check daily the loads awaiting pick up to ensure 100% match to

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
HS Diploma/GED
1-2 years exposure to the PKMS system
Excellent Computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access)
Excellent interpersonal skills
Able to work with minimum supervision.

Read/Write in English
Accuracy and attention to detail
Knowledge of the daily Outboard reports
Knowledge of
