Shipping Supervisor Dill Air Controls Products 1500 Williamsboro Street, Oxford, NC 27565 Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated Shipping Supervisor to oversee our shipping operations within a fast-paced manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and warehouse management, with a focus on process improvement and team leadership. As a Shipping Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate shipments while maintaining compliance with safety standards. Duties Supervise daily shipping operations, ensuring all shipments are processed accurately and efficiently. Manage and lead a team of warehouse staff, providing training and guidance to enhance performance. Coordinate logistics for incoming and outgoing shipments, optimizing routes and schedules for efficiency. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies to maintain a safe working environment. Conduct regular inspections of shipping equipment, including forklifts, to ensure operational readiness. Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce shipping errors. Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and warehouse activities using inventory management systems. Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and resolve any shipping-related issues. Experience Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar role within a distribution center environment. Strong knowledge of logistics processes, including heavy lifting protocols and equipment operation (forklift certification required). Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively while fostering a positive work environment. Experience with process improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency. Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety standards in the warehouse setting is essential.
