This role involves assisting in the management of inventory, supervising warehouse personnel, implementing efficient workflows, and maintaining compliance with safety regulations. Role and Responsibilities 1.

Supervision and Leadership:
  • Direct supervision and leadership of warehouse and assembly staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluation. This includes assigning tasks, providing guidance and monitoring performance to ensure efficiency and quality standards.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to enhance team morale and productivity.
  • Implement clear goals and objectives for the team and ensure they are met.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, management and other departments to convey information, address concerns and coordinate activities.
  • Address issues or challenges that arise during warehouse and assembly operations promptly and effectively through root cause analysis. 2. Inventory Management
  • Oversee inventory control processes, including receiving, storing, and issuing of materials.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
  • Manage regular inventory counts and assist in reconciling variances. 3. Operational Efficiency

  • Monitor warehouse operations to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.

  • Perform regular facility inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with regulations. 5. Safety and Compliance Support
  • Ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment, including compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including OSHA guidelines.
  • Perform regular safety inspections and training sessions to promote a culture of safety awareness. 6. Quality Assurance Assistance
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory.
  • Monitor product quality and handling procedures to minimize damages and losses.
  • Investigate and resolve any quality or customer service issues related to warehouse operations.
Educational / Computer

/ Work Experience Requirements

  • 5+ years relevant work experience in a warehouse with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of inventory management best practices, safety regulations, and quality control standards.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Forklift certification and other relevant certifications/licenses preferred.
  • Excellent understanding of problem-solving and decision-making processes.
