Job Description:

Warehouse Supervisor Purpose of Position:

This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the facility shipping and receiving, including but not limited to managing staff, maintaining inventory levels, ensuring efficient product receiving, storage, and shipping, while coordinating activities to guarantee accurate and timely order fulfillment.

Accountabilities:

Supervise and/or execute the loading and unloading of product with the use of mechanized fork truck equipment Training and supervising warehouse workers. Assigning tasks and monitoring employee performance. Addressing employee concerns and resolving issues. Maintaining accurate inventory records. Performing cycle and daily inventory counts. Identifying and addressing inventory discrepancies. Supervising inventory movements to ensure proper product rotations Overseeing receiving and checking incoming shipments. Coordinating product storage and organization within the warehouse. Supervising and executing order picking processes. Supervising shipping and delivery procedures. Enforcing safety protocols and procedures within the warehouse Maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Complying with all relevant regulations and standards. Identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes. Communicating operational updates to management.

Required Skills:

Ability to safely operate motorized fork truck equipment Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Identifying and resolving operational issues quickly. Efficiently managing workflow and prioritizing tasks. Ensuring accuracy in inventory and order fulfillment. Proficiency with warehouse management systems and Microsoft. Clear and effective communication with staff, management, and customers.

Schedule:

2nd shift, but trained on 1st shift.

Pay Rate:

$15.00/hour
