The Warehouse Lead will assist the Distribution Manager with shipping/receiving, storage of goods, and all related job duties for the Carolina Distribution Center (Buffalo, SC).
Responsibilities Include:
Assist the manager with successful operation of the company’s receiving, storage, and distribution. This includes, but is not limited to, performing all receiving and shipping functions, maintaining proper inventory, and maintaining all receiving and shipping documents as required. Must have demonstrated ability to lead a team. Must learn E1 system (distribution management software) to build outgoing loads, which includes communication with the sales team, production management, and the transportation groups (internal & external). Maintain documentation of incoming and outgoing loads. FedEx and UPS (domestic and international) Daily cycle counts Quality control Daily reports Troubleshoot scan gun issues; contact IT via ServiceNow when there is a problem with scan guns or computers. Load & unload trucks as needed (manually or with PIT). Communicate effectively with management, subordinates, co-workers, vendors, and customers to ensure that all service and quality standards are met. Must be able to obtain licensing on all operational equipment, such as forklift (sit-down and stand-up) and cherry picker. Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, organized, and motivated work environment. Assist in providing an environment for continuous improvement to achieve world-class service. Perform ad hoc, job-related duties as assigned.

Education:
High School Diploma or GED Experience:
2+ years of warehouse/distribution experience (preferably with some leadership experience) Required
- Prior Powered Industrial Truck operation experience Required
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Word, Outlook, and Excel) Required
- Prior utilization of a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and RF Scanners Required
- Standing, sitting, walking, pushing/pulling, reaching, bending, stooping, visual inspection, lifting up to 70 pounds, basic machine operation and troubleshooting, ability to work independently or in a team setting, & ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
