Responsibilities

Purpose:

Serves as warehouse team lead member by offering constructive support/mentoring to other team members, while assisting with day to day operations to include all aspects of shipping/receiving, scheduling, inventory control, equipment tracking, training, and other assigned tasks.

Responsibilities:

Complies with health and safety programs
Maintains a safe and clean work environment in all warehouse areas
Performs same duties as a warehouse associate
Serve as secondary support to shipping/receiving clerks
Manages movement and transfers of materials to include shipping and receiving via DC Link and JDE
Responsible for overseeing daily operations outlined by Supervisor
Oversee team members by prioritizing tasks and making sure tasks are completed timely and efficiently
Responsible for ensuring that daily scheduled orders are completed and shipped timely
Responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy
Promote quality across the team while meeting daily goals
Training of team members in order to stay in compliance with Certifications level I, II, and III
Provide detailed feedback on the level of performance of warehouse associates to Supervisor
Inspect all work equipment and provide condition feedback to Supervisor
Foster good communication within the team
Ensure all outgoing material meets company standards and proper documentation is processed/signed accurately
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor and/or Manager
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
Must have three years minimum warehouse experience
Positive team-oriented attitude with ability to communicate clearly and effectively
Must possess strong sense of urgency and accuracy
Ability to multi-task, assign and monitor multiple team tasks, meet deadlines and maintain accurate records
Ability to offer team support/direction in an advisory role and coach team members in achieving performance goals
Physical capability to stand, walk, reach and lift up to 50 pounds
