Warehouse Supervisor Responsibilities:

Gexpro Services is looking for a hands-on Supervisor to manage our warehouse operations in for an immediate business need. Moreover, this role will serve as the interface between the company and the customer by analyzing and managing on-site inventory, filling customer orders, responding to customer requests, and collaborating cross functionally within the company to manage the company’s on-site warehouse personnel. In addition, a qualified candidate will be able to perform the following task: Lead and coordinate all warehouse operations including customer shipments, inbound and outbound processes, safety requirements, and special customer requirements. Manage the on-site inventory for accuracy and on-time fulfillment. Communicate with the customer on inventory and support needs and managing internal and external orders fulfillment. Supervise on-site team – drive efficient internal and external orders fulfillment and inventory management through Lean process improvements and automation. Work with Sourcing and Sales to optimize site inventory – reduce obsolete items and manage annual physical inventory. Establish and maintain customer relationships; learn and evaluate customer operations to aid in identifying customer objectives, requirements, and preferences. Translate the voice of the customer to assist in continually improving customer service levels which exceed customer requirements and expectations. Work cross functionally with Operations, Purchasing, and Sales by processing priority transactions. Resolve customer complaints. Other duties as assigned by Operations Manager and/or Service Site Manager.

Warehouse Supervisor Skills, Knowledge, and Education:

The Warehouse Supervisor should possess a high school diploma or GED and have a valid driver’s license. Additionally, the Warehouse Supervisor should preferably possess the following: At least two years of progressive supply chain related experience in warehouse, logistics, or operations is required Team oriented with a hands-on leadership style. Previous experience directly or indirectly managing direct reports preferred Working knowledge of QAD and WMS Previous experience with industrial products preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Self-starter with a high degree of initiative, teamwork and customer service Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate excel skills Previous working experience performing the physical demands associated with a manufacturing environment including: standing continuously lifting up to 50lbs unassisted repetitive use of hands/manual dexterity Operating forklifts, pallet wrappers, and other warehouse equipment Possess the ability to organize and prioritize job tasks to aid in satisfying customer requirements.
