The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management and team leadership, ensuring that all processes run efficiently and safely. This role requires hands-on involvement in inventory management, shipping and receiving, as well as compliance with OSHA regulations. The Warehouse Lead will play a crucial role in maintaining a productive work environment while fostering teamwork among staff. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff to ensure efficient operations. Coordinate and assign daily production tasks to team members. Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods within the warehouse. Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock movements. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to ensure compliance with safety standards. Train new employees on warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation, including forklift usage. Manage inventory control processes to minimize discrepancies and optimize stock levels. Perform heavy lifting as required to assist with loading and unloading shipments. Collaborate with management to implement best practices for warehouse operations Act as a point of contact for guidance and support on the production floor. Assist in training new staff on procedures and safety protocols. Monitor work progress and escalate issues to the Production Supervisor as needed. Participate actively in production processes alongside the team. Ensure adherence to safety standards and quality expectations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Requirements Must be Bilingual (English and Spanish) Proven experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory management practices. Familiarity with OSHA regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment is preferred. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as needed throughout the shift. Effective communication skills for interaction with team members and other departments. Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred. Ability to lead by example and support a team-oriented culture. Willingness to work in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
