Exempt Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Shipping/Warehouse Supervisor on-site to play a crucial role in supporting our order processes in connection with shipping goods and ensuring smooth operational workflows. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position will be responsible for coordinating various activities in the order and shipping process to help contribute to the overall efficiency of our operations. This position may direct and coordinate the activities of other workers engaged in handling orders and goods to be shipped to provide the highest level of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. The Shipping/Warehouse Supervisor will manage functions within the warehouse including receiving, inventory, picking functions to ensure product moves efficiently and effectively through the warehouse. This position regularly exercises independent judgment to perform responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Manage day-to-day tasks, primarily order fulfillment processing, inventory management, and shipment coordination. + Ensure that all warehouse functions occur in a time sensitive manner + Consult with the supervisor on all orders with conflicting, inadequate or questionable data + Keep customer service informed of shipment delays + Prepare proper paperwork for export orders + Provide freight quotes and create freight BOL’s + Monitor inventory and inform appropriate parties of any needs + Effectively train and coach warehouse team to ensure that the standards of the department are upheld + General housekeeping, maintenance, and organization of the dock, cold rooms and inventory areas + Ensure and maintain integrity of warehouse labeling and organization + Evaluate warehouse processes and work to make improvements + Perform all warehouse functions as needed such as receiving, picking, review of inventory, maintain and adjust minimum inventory levels as needed etc. + Maintain open line of communication with manufacturing, assembly, and shipping to ensure all supplies are received and distributed in a timely manner + Maintains department standards for attendance, efficiency, productivity, and quality + Follows all established safety procedures including wearing required PPE + Assist with the creation and revisions of department SOP’s and forms as needed + Perform other duties as assigned

Education:

+ High School diploma from an accredited learning institution, GED, or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in related field of study preferred

Experience:

+ Minimum of 5 years’ experience in warehouse operations; leadership experience preferred

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

+ Ability to read, analyze, and interpret written instruction + Ability to present information and respond to questions from various levels within the organization + Proven understanding of basic mathematical functions + Proven leadership ability + Ability to pay close attention to detail + Work well within a team and maintain pace while ensuring high quality standards. Assist other team members, as needed, to ensure customer satisfaction + Practices good housekeeping and keeps inventory neat, clean, and orderly + Meet and maintain high attendance standards + Ability to understand and perform job duties for continuous improvement + Must possess basic computer skills and understanding of Microsoft Office products, including the ability to use MS Outlook and MS Teams. + Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, efficiently works under pressure, within deadlines or other time essential constraints + Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly and concisely communicate to all levels of the organization + Strong work ethic and an ability to excel within a rapidly changing and growing organization

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

+ Ability to stand and/or walk constantly over a full work shift (8-12 hours) + Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours) + Moderate physical demand; often lifting/moving average weight (up to 50 lbs), and occasionally lifting heavy weight materials (up to 70 lbs) with assistance

Salary Range:
