Job Description The warehouse supervisor is responsible for leading the warehouse associates as a team to ensure all safety, quality, packaging, shipment standards, and operational goals are attained. Responsibilities Manage the outbound services, customer pickup, and parcel services of product which includes the picking, stacking, and packaging of orders. Maintain relationships with trucking vendors to ensure exceptional customer service standard. Ensures safety, productivity and quality in all warehouse distribution operations. Manage the hand-held scanning equipment to ensure that all orders are processed in a timely manner through warehouse management software. Refurbishes and enhances site infrastructure and equipment to support site efforts in growth and meeting objectives. Continues efforts to build performance metrics and train all staff in those measures to optimize performance and return on investment. Ensures associates have the tools and training necessary to do the job. Lead, coach, and manage associate. Ensure the work area and general upkeep of warehouse/office facility is exceptional. Monitor associate picking productivity through Net Suite. Troubleshoot any inventory discrepancies. Work with Account Support Specialists to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction. Manage time cards via timekeeping system for associates. Maintain and execute all safety programs. Oversee other departments when needed. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Prior experience leading a large team of associates in a fast-paced warehouse/ distribution environment. Experience with warehouse equipment and training (ie, forklift, cherry picker, reach truck, etc). Knowledge of warehouse management system (NetSuite experience a plus) and RF equipment. 5s /Lean/ Six Sigma experience. Must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to effectively interact with customers and teammates. Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience. Can manage a fast-paced dynamic work environment
