Full Job Description Summary:
The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the efficient and accurate flow of incoming and outgoing goods within the organization. This role combines responsibilities from both the Shipping and Receiving/Inventory departments, ensuring timely domestic and international shipments, accurate inventory management, and the coordination of materials for internal and external stakeholders. The position works closely with Production, Purchasing, and Sales departments to maintain high standards of service and operational excellence. Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Process all outgoing customer and service shipments, both domestic and international. Perform data entry for tracking shipments and receivables. Prepare and coordinate packing lists and associated shipping documentation. Coordinate demo systems for sales representatives. Manage customer evaluation and vendor loaner materials. Send post-shipment customer satisfaction confirmations. Maintain communication with vendors, freight carriers, and shipping agents. Contribute to the development and improvement of packaging processes and designs. Present weekly reports on shipping metrics and performance. Administer vendor RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) processes. Receive and inspect incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and quality compliance. Report discrepancies in products or quantities to Purchasing and Production. Allocate parts and materials to customer orders. Maintain accurate inventory levels through regular control checks and updates. Perform kitting for production builds and internal usage.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); additional technical or logistics-related education a plus. 2+ years of experience in shipping, receiving or inventory control preferred. Experience in international shipping and customs documentation is preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills for both internal and external interactions. Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Ability to read and interpret technical documents, safety rules, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine correspondence and reports. Ability to communicate clearly with vendors, team members, and customers. Proficient in basic math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and units of measure. Ability to follow written, oral, or diagram instructions. Capability to address issues involving several variables in standardized situations. Proficient with inventory management software and shipping platforms. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Comfortable with data entry and tracking systems.
