Years Fleet Maintenance Experience Description of Essential Duties & Responsibilities Breakdown Coordination:
Coordinate and oversee the breakdown of shipments into the individual units or smaller quantities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to customer requirements and specifications.
Distribution Planning:
Develop distribution plans and schedules based on customer orders, shipping requirements, and available resources. Optimize routes and allocate resources to ensure efficient and timely deliveries.
Inventory Management:
Monitor and track inventory levels of products being broken down, ensuring an adequate supply is available to meet customer demands. Coordinate with warehouse personnel to replenish stock as needed.
Quality Control:
Perform quality checks on products during the breakdown process to ensure they meet specified standards and requirements. Identify and report any quality issues or discrepancies.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records and documentation of breakdown activities, including quantities, specifications, and any relevant information. Generate reports on breakdown efficiency, productivity, and inventory levels.
Communication and Collaboration:
Liaise with various stakeholders, including warehouse staff, transportation teams, and customer service representatives, to facilitate smooth breakdown operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and safety guidelines throughout the breakdown process. Promote a safe working environment and enforce proper handling and storage procedures. Qualifications Education / Training A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred. TMT/Trimble software preferred Work Experience 3+ years of Fleet maintenance experience required Familiarity with breakdown processes, including inventory management, quality control. And distribution planning. Understanding of logistics principles and practices beneficial. TMT/Trimble software preferred Job Skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple breakdown operations simultaneously. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate breakdown of products, precise documentation, and quality control checks.
