Job Description
Dock Coordinator Teutonic Transportation 2279 Center Square Road, Logan Township, NJ 08085 Our company is currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Dock Coordinator to handle dock operations and office administrative duties. Must be comfortable in a warehouse environment. You will be reporting to the General Manager and will be responsible for assigning carriers to dock doors, auditing packing slips, and streamlining communications with the office and transportation brokers. This is an entry level position that gives someone well rounded experience in all aspects of logistics. You will have the opportunity to promote and grow within the company.
Hours:
8:00am-4:30pm
Responsibilities:
Serve as primary check-in point for the drivers Document and update inbound records based on interactions Assign dock doors to the warehouse, work with inventory manager to achieve success Coordinate with carriers and brokers via email and phone
Qualifications:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Proficient in Google G-Suite Customer Service experience is a requirement Previous experience in warehouse environment Ability to prioritize and multitask Positive and professional demeanor Excellent written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail is a key qualification for this role.
