Health System Services is seeking a motivated and organized Assistant Warehouse Supervisor to oversee various aspects of our warehouse operation, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety. What You’ll Do Oversee inventory, including receiving, storing, and managing stock levels. Conduct regular inventory audits and make recommendations for restocking and ordering. Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory spreadsheets. Ensure proper equipment maintenance by cleaning equipment, troubleshooting issues, coordinating repairs, and maintaining detailed maintenance records. Handle incoming customer phone calls professionally and efficiently. Coordinate deliveries throughout the day. Communicate effectively with other departments throughout the day to guarantee accurate deliveries. Lead and manage warehouse associates, monitoring their work and ensuring safe equipment operation. Establish and implement warehouse standard practices, procedures, and protocols to optimize the work environment. Receive, oversee tracking, and manage all incoming and outgoing freight deliveries (USPS, UPS, FedEx, and LTL). Conduct timely reviews of all purchase orders. Assist with loading and unloading of delivery vehicles. Track vehicle maintenance and repairs using Samsara. Monitor Medical Delivery Technician routes using Samsara to ensure efficiency. Provide assistance with shipping and receiving. Perform paperwork audits and address any issues with technicians. Assist the Warehouse Manager with all functions and act as Manager in his absence. Assist with on-call duties for Medical Delivery Technician personnel. Qualifications for Success Knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment strongly preferred. Prior warehouse and management experience strongly preferred. High school diploma or GED, required. Must have Clean Driving Record and pass Background Check. Kind, friendly and positive attitude. Organized with high attention to detail. Ability to effectively lead a team. Basic electromechanical troubleshooting knowledge and math skills required. Knowledge of space utilization and inventory techniques; proper methods of storing equipment, materials, and tools.
