Tristate area for over 50 years. We specialize in quality used auto parts, vehicle dismantling, and environmentally responsible recycling. We are looking for a motivated and experienced Yard Manager/Foreman to lead our operations team. Position Summary The Yard Manager/Foreman is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the salvage yard. This includes supervising yard staff, coordinating vehicle processing, maintaining safety and efficiency, and ensuring quality customer service. Key Responsibilities Supervise and lead yard workers, dismantlers, and equipment operators Assign daily tasks and monitor productivity Oversee vehicle intake, tagging, dismantling, storage, and part inventory Ensure safe operation of forklifts, loaders, and other heavy equipment Maintain organization and cleanliness of the yard Enforce compliance with safety and environmental regulations Coordinate with sales and office staff to fulfill customer part requests Troubleshoot problems and recommend improvements to operations Perform basic maintenance and repairs on yard equipment when needed Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in an auto salvage yard or similar environment Prior supervisory or management experience preferred Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicles and auto parts Experience operating forklifts, skid steers, or other yard equipment Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and communication skills Reliable, self-motivated, and safety-conscious Valid driver’s license required Work Environment Outdoor work in varying weather conditions Physically demanding: standing, lifting, bending, and working around vehicles and machinery How to Apply Please send your resume to info@aaronauto.com or apply in person at 136 Peconic Ave. Medford, NY 11763.
