Job Summary:

The Receiving Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily receiving operations, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of all inbound shipments, and maintaining a well-organized inventory. This role requires strong organizational and problem-solving skills, team leadership, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure accurate product counts and proper documentation for all incoming shipments.
Maintain a systematic inventory process to streamline operations.
Supervise and train receiving clerks to foster a productive, efficient, and safe work environment.
Monitor team performance and provide coaching to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality control procedures.
Operate and oversee the safe use of forklifts and other equipment.
Identify and resolve any issues related to inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or delivery delays.
Implement improvements to optimize receiving processes.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent
Proven safety awareness and adherence to safety protocols.
Experience with quality control and inventory management.
Strong problem-solving abilities.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds frequently.
Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and moving throughout the facility.
Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead as needed to handle inventory and equipment.
Comfortable working in varying environmental conditions, including warehouse settings with fluctuating temperatures.
Visual and auditory ability to operate machinery safely, including forklifts. Pay range and compensation package $25.00-27.00 per hour
