Dock Master Freedom Boat Club Lake George Lake George, NY 12845 Job Overview Join the team that was recently awarded ‘Best Dock Staff in the World’ out of 415+ Freedom Boat Club locations! Freedom Boat Club is looking for a Dock Master to help provide the best customer service on Lake George. Two locations in Dunhams Bay and Bolton Landing. Fun atmosphere. Team mentality. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK THROUGH SEPTEMBER.
Responsibilities for Dock Master Clean and prep boats for daily reservations Provide outstanding customer service while checking members in and out for their reservations Help maintain clean and orderly facility Fuel customer boats and help with store sales Additional duties as needed Qualifications for Dock Master Outstanding customer service an absolute must Ability to work flexible hours and work around a changing schedule, including working evenings. Weekend availability a must. Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job Ability to drive a variety of boat types not required but a plus Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Attention to personal and environmental safety Ability to multi-task and handle high stress situations Public Vessel certification a plus Previous marina experience a plus Knowledge of Lake George a plus Ability to follow, and help develop, efficient standard operating procedures Must have driver’s license and own transportation Do you want to pursue a career on the most beautiful lake in the country?
