The Weekend Warrior Warehouse Shift Lead plays a key leadership role in overseeing weekend warehouse operations. This individual is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of order picking, packing, staging, and shipping processes while maintaining a safe, secure, and productive work environment. The Shift Lead also provides supervision, support, and direction to weekend warehouse staff, ensuring operations run smoothly and meet company standards.

Hours:

Saturday & Sunday 3PM-11PM; 3 days during the week 3PM-11

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster a culture of safety by following and enforcing all safety procedures and immediately addressing any concerns.
• Supervise and lead a team of weekend warehouse employees to ensure productivity and accuracy in all warehouse activities.
• Train, coach, and support new and existing team members on procedures, policies, and expectations.
• Coordinate daily work assignments and monitor progress to meet operational goals.
• Ensure accurate picking, packing, staging, and shipping of inventory and non-inventory items.
• Oversee proper use of material handling equipment and ensure the overall security of the warehouse.
• Maintain quality control standards to ensure all outbound shipments are accurate and damage-free.
• Complete and submit reports and records in a timely and accurate manner.
• Use Warehouse Management System (WMS) tools and metrics to monitor and improve team performance.
• Assist in reviewing and refining warehouse processes for continuous improvement.
• Step in to support other warehouse functions when needed.
• Provide weekend coverage in the absence of the Warehouse Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Previous warehouse supervisory or lead experience preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with WMS systems is a plus Ability to lift up to 50lbs continuously. Ability to lift, push, pull, reach, stand, walk (even and uneven surfaces), twist, bend, and climb for extended periods. Must also be comfortable working at heights of up to 50 feet in the air. Ability to work overtime as business needs dictate. Weekend Warriors Lead will work 8-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday, plus three 8-hour weekday shifts of your choosing to create your ideal workweek—please note: the weekday shifts you select will become your permanent schedule and cannot change week to week.
