- Minimum 2 years for truck operation in an industrial environment
Education:
High School Diploma Skills:
- Must be self-directed, able to lift a minimum of 60 pounds and move 55 gallon drums
- Must be able to safely operate a fork lift and pallet jack
- Must be dependable, cooperative, and work well with others as a team player
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Schedules dock appointments, follows up, reports and reschedules late deliveries, including boxes, caps, buttons, valves, bottles, and any other component requiring a dock appointment. Works with carriers, inbound and outbound to maximize efficiency on dock. Unloads and puts away delivered raw materials, including chemicals as required Verifies packing slip matches delivered material before putting material away. Reports shortages to the production office immediately for vendor follow up and problem resolution if required. Properly address delivered loads with no packing slips. Scans finished material to trucks. Coordinate with office to load priorities if any. Aware of inbound materials and prepares warehouse space for optimal storage whenever possible. Performs spot checks in the warehouse and returns misplaced materials to proper location. Delivers inner office packages in a timely manner Keeps work area clean and orderly. Follows all safety regulations, and report unsafe conditions to the supervisor. Completes required paperwork as needed. (ie returned goods paperwork). Performs cycle counts when asked. Perform ISO checks and comply with ISO procedures. Performs routine functions as assigned in a timely manner. Assist Material Handlers in maintaining Chemical Storage Areas Assist with Hazardous and non-waste removal and manifest Maintain sufficient materials as assigned Other duties as assigned. CRC Industries, Inc. facilities receive, blend, and package mixtures of chemicals. The facilities are regulated for the flammable substances onsite and utilize multiple safety features including engineering controls such as fail-safe devices, exhaust and ventilation systems, fire safety systems, automatic shutoff systems, and gas detection systems, as well as administrative controls and personal protective equipment.
