Sapling is now offering the opportunity to join our rapidly growing company as a Shipping and Packaging Coordinator. The ideal candidate for this position will provide support to the Shipping Supervisor and serve as his primary backup. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 1. Ensure all domestic and international orders are shipped on time and accurately. 2. Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments (domestic, international import/export) including printing packing slips and processing shipments (FedEx, UPS, DHL, Freight Forwarders). 3. Responsible for supplying accurate shipping documentation, including BOL’s, SLI’s, COC’s, COO’s, etc. 4. Provide shipping quotes as well as weight and dimensions to Sales and Customer Service teams as requested. 5. Maintain sufficient inventory of all shipping/packaging goods and supplies. Submit order requests to Purchasing team when stock runs low. 6. Receive, unload, check, and label incoming shipments upon arrival. 7. Assist the Production team with restocking inventory on the production floor as needed. 8. Prepare boxes, package orders for shipment, and verify contents. 9. Other warehouse and shipping duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Must have prior shipping/warehouse experience. International shipping experience is highly preferred. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Must be proficient working with UPS and FedEx shipping software. Must be organized, able to work independently, and manage time effectively. Must be good at multitasking. Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office.
