Key Responsibilities:

Motivate employees, resolve issues, and make difficult decisions Serve as a conduit of communication between employees and senior management Implement established business strategy, assigning roles and tasks to dedicated team members based on strengths and abilities Identify and implement positive changes in cost reduction and waste elimination Meet and exceed organizational goals with optimum use of workforce and resource allocation Ensure compliance with state and legal policies and procedures Directly work with employees to meet quality and on-time delivery requirements; address production challenges and communicate to appropriate leadership Partner with production department to manage workflow and ensure employees fully comprehend responsibilities and delegated tasks Set performance goals and deadlines in line with company’s vision Monitor team productivity and provide performance evaluations, constructive feedback, mentorship, and discipline as needed Receive and track employee and customer complaints and follow up with the warehouse manager before making any decisions

Physical Requirements:

Requires the ability to stock shelves by climbing ladders or stairs; able to bend, twist, stoop, reach and lift/move inventory up to 40 lbs., standing and walking for long periods of time exposed to warehouse conditions, cold/heat and noise. Requires the ability for close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus

Experience :

3-5 years warehouse supervisory experience required Ability to operate a forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment Forklift Certification preferred Good communication, organizational, time management, leadership and mathematical skills Dependable, Reliable and Punctual Inventory, equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills may be required Able to interface with all levels of staff and management Excellent customer service skills Reply to this ad for consideration or
